Welcome to the Office of Emergency Management’s (OEM) website. OEM is tasked by the Chancellor and the Board of Trustees to assist the College leadership in expanding and improving its resiliency in serving the community before, during and after disasters both natural and manmade.
Working in partnership with the students, faculty, staff and community of San Jacinto College to improve community safety practices and provide timely, quality and effective emergency management.
The Office of Emergency Management will assist the SLT in meeting its strategic intentions by providing community centered emergency management (composed of prevention, preparedness, response and recovery initiatives) while employing sound business practices and utilizing quality people services.
