Empowerment through Writing

Taylor Arbuckle decided she wanted to be a writer when she was in the fourth grade. Her experience at San Jac has given her skills and confidence to keep pursuing her dreams.

Coming to San Jac, not only did Arbuckle get a chance to hone her skills, but also the opportunity to be published. In 2020, Arbuckle had six works published in San Jac’s first college-wide literary magazine, “Accents.” She said getting published gave her confidence. Arbuckle plans to earn a degree in English and keep working toward becoming a writer.
