I graduated from San Jacinto College with my associate degree and continued my academic journey at the University of Houston’s Main Campus. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a minor in Special Populations. Throughout my educational experience, I had the opportunity to work as a student employee in several different departments, where I developed valuable skills, gained professional experience, and built meaningful connections within the San Jacinto College community.

My Student Advice
I would encourage students to get involved in clubs, organizations, and campus activities.
These experiences can help you build meaningful relationships, develop new skills,
and create lasting memories. Some of my strongest friendships in college came from
being involved on campus. Additionally, participation in student organizations can
strengthen college applications and resumes by demonstrating leadership, teamwork,
and commitment.
