The Details

The Last Step Scholarship covers tuition and course materials up to $1,500 for part-time students (6-11 hours) and up to $3,000 for full-time students (12+ hours).  Find out if you qualify and apply now. 

Initial Eligibility

To qualify, you must:

  • Be at least 21 years old.
  • Have completed some college credits but have not completed a credential.
  • Have stopped attending college for a minimum of one full semester (the fall or spring semester).
  • Be in good academic standing (minimum 2.0 GPA).

Maintaining Eligibility

Your eligibility will be confirmed at the end of each semester. To maintain your eligibility, you must:

  • Enroll for a minimum of six hours during the fall and spring semesters.
  • Be continuously enrolled each fall and spring. You may also continue enrollment during the summer. 
  • Maintain satisfactory academic progress at the end of each semester. This generally means maintaining a minimum GPA of 2.0 and passing a minimum of 75 percent of all hours attempted. Full SAP Requirements.
